Wearing Jewelry Like A Celebrity

The glitz and the glamour of Hollywood are attainable. You can find similar fashions to the ones that you see in the magazines and imitate the looks (or customize them) quite easily no matter what your budget.

Start your transformation to turn into the next Katie Holmes or Anne Hathaway by taking clippings from your favorite magazines and celebrity news. Boot up your computer and hit the web. If you do a search you will find plenty of pages pertaining to their latest sizzling fashion hits and faux pas. Take note and then make a list of the items you find most in tune with your personal taste.
Finding fashion jewelry online is the first step. There is a variety in price if you shop online. Whether costume or fine adornments, there is at least something you can gets your paws on. Chandelier earrings, diamond necklaces, pearls - you name it and somebody has worn it. But who wore it better? If you find an outfit that you think is a better complement than the bizarre headline-making dress somebody sported on the red carpet, then kudos to you!

Crystal or pearl studs and drop earrings are some of the more elegant looks. Find a gem that matches or complements the color of your top. Sapphire, aquamarine, and pearls look nice with deep hues like midnight blue and bright sunny colors. Emeralds look nice with green, black, and silver/grey. Ruby reds, pink quartz, and amber are perfect with tropical or exotic styles. Balance out the crystals with a vintage gold and silver cuff bracelet.

Also, start thinking about your daily clothing in two ways: as a whole and as separate parts. What jewelry matches what tops? Can you use the accessories for several occasions, both casual and dress? What color tops go with those pants? Can you swap out the pants for a miniskirt? Mix together the pieces and see what works. It may not be an exact replica of the paparazzi shot but at least it evokes the same aesthetics.

There are so many questions to ask as you go through the magazine clippings and get the designer fashion fever: What to buy? How much will it cost? Can I pull that off? There is a moment when you realize you can balance practicality with "fabulosity" without sacrificing either. You may not have a 10x10 walk-in closet but you most definitely can have spectacular options available to you when you do open that closet door that fit your lifestyle.
